Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS) controls casing stress distribution, optimising the tension in different areas, resulting in more consistent and controlled line holding, straight-line traction and better feedback.
Fine Carbon particles increase the compound's strength, whilst longer polymer chains enhance molecule entanglement, contributing to higher fracture resistance. This means better traction thanks to reduced knob flex and the ability to cope with firmer base terrain without excessive wear.
Dunlop’s new patented Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) increases block flexibility to achieve greater slide control, partnered with twin edges delivers tightened cornering grip.
New Multiple Block Distribution (MBD) features variable pitch sequencing between the centre and middle-to-shoulder block areas, which combined with fewer blocks in the centre improves contact feel, whilst also delivering confident bite and grip.
Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) is apploed to enhance rear grip at lean. The PCBT block tip design increases bite through more edge length, adding block tip flex and to complement the specific block rigidity. Block height is adjusted to tune the block rigidity, combined with the a High Resilience Rubber Compound, (H-RRC) this contributes to a lift in traction.
The spacing between adjacent blocks was optimised to secure grip on softer terrain, delivering reliable grip across a wide range of conditions. The block size was increased, improving both block rigidity and resilience, as well as surface penetration.
The latest iteration of Multiple Block Distribution (MBD) applies more blocks from the middle to the shoulder area of the tire and less blocks in the center of the tire. This way, rebound is optimized, improving ground contact feel and predictability under load.
